Yep, as Steve says, I took the easy way out to try to get a reliable(ish) fuel reading, and local?fuel pump earth. It was suggested that the somewhat erratic readings I was seeing were due to “electrical noise from the fuel pump supply. Mr Rowland (KitCarElectronics) suggested trying a local earth, and it did the trick. Readout is still changed when I put the lights on, but as I always drive with them on just calibrated the custom sensor accordingly in?RS. Stationary and moving in a?straight line the readout is steady, bit like a “g force” readout on corners though when getting low though! Suppose in the ideal world I should fit a separate screened cable. But what I’ve got works fine? ? ? ?
